💰 £30,000 - £35,000 per year
About the role
- Design and build independent learning experiences used by COps (LMS content, text copy, media assets, knowledge checks/assessments)
- Use Instructional Design Standards and design apps to prepare COps for their roles
- Curate the Learning Management System by replacing, archiving and maintaining accurate ‘live’ training courses
- Design training with accessibility, inclusion and relevance for learners at global sites
- Develop skills in software platforms and share discoveries with other training designers to build a community of practice
- Contribute to Learning/Performance strategy discussions by providing insights and spotting opportunities/trends (eg AI, software capabilities, new tools)
- Work with Business Partners, Ops leads and COps to implement curricula and learning outcomes
- Support workshops where COps embed independent learning through group discussion and planned activities
Requirements
- Strong ‘learning experience’ mindset and understanding of how to design learning experiences
- Understanding that functionality and accessibility should work together to create relevant and engaging learning
- Relationship management skills to work with stakeholders including Business Partners, Ops leads and COps
- Motivated to learn and develop skills across writing, relationship management, project management, UX curation, risk management, design, media, software and AI
- Proactive in maintaining, updating, verifying/reviewing and archiving courses in a Learning Management System
- Understanding of Instructional Design Principles and adult learning theory
- Ability to create engaging and accessible text copy, media assets and knowledge checks/assessments
- Comfortable developing skills in software platforms and technologies and sharing learnings with other training designers
