About the role

  • Serve as first point of contact for customers of a music streaming service
  • Respond to inbound customer inquiries via messaging in Spanish and English
  • Help customers navigate the platform and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Ensure customers have the best possible listening experience
  • Handle multiple simultaneous chats and maintain high-quality support
  • Participate in mandatory 8-week orientation and follow production schedules

Requirements

  • Fluent in Spanish and English with professional-level communication skills
  • Must complete language assessments in Spanish and English
  • Experience providing support through inbound messaging
  • Experience handling 3-5 simultaneous chats in previous roles
  • Availability for 8-week orientation: 40 hours/week (Phase 1: 4 AM - 1 PM PT for 4 weeks; Phase 2: 4 weeks self-scheduled)
  • Available production hours: Daily, 24/7 with priority coverage needed from 3:00 PM PT onwards
  • Project commitment: 25 hours per week; 12 hours required on Saturday and/or Sunday
  • Project length: 180 days (as needed by ModSquad)
  • Workspace: dedicated laptop/desktop running Windows 10 or newer
  • Willingness to install ModSquad security software and a 2FA app on mobile device
  • Access to a webcam or smartphone capable of capturing clear photos
  • Stable broadband internet connection with minimum speed of 25 Mbps
  • Minimum 8 GB of RAM; dual monitors strongly recommended
  • Chromebook is not sufficient
  • Note: Individuals residing in California, Colorado, New York, and Washington are excluded
