About the role
- Listen to customers and understand their key business and security challenges to advise on how Mitiga adds value to their security operations
- Engage with CISOs and security operations teams to build credibility and thought leadership
- Serve as a trusted advisor delivering tailored solutions based on Mitiga’s platform
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to grow pipeline and drive revenue across the US
- Engage with partner ecosystem to establish go-to-market partnerships and drive pipeline and bookings growth
- Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation and closing
- Navigate complex sales cycles with consultative and solution-based selling
- Partner with Product, Marketing, Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, and Executive teams to align strategy and deliver results
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in the cybersecurity industry
- Strong track record of exceeding quota and success selling to CISOs, cybersecurity executives, and heads of security operations
- Proven experience working in sales at early-stage startups (Seed to Series A)
- Demonstrated success managing both mid-market and enterprise sales cycles
- Hunter mentality with strong prospecting skills and track record generating leads in greenfield territories
- Able to articulate technical concepts and map them to business outcomes
- Experienced in selling SaaS and cloud security solutions
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized and data-driven, with strong pipeline management skills
- Thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth, start-up environment
- Candidate must reside in one of the following areas: Atlanta (preferred)- Southeast
