About the role
- We are looking for a Senior Corporate Counsel to join our legal team and support Axonius' global procurement needs. You will use your legal expertise to have an immediate impact on a fast-growing hi-tech company. The ideal candidate is a business-minded lawyer, focused on execution, and prepared to collaborate with various teams within the company. This role will work cross-functionally with Finance, Security/IT, Marketing, People, and other teams, and will report directly to Axonius' VP of Legal.
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide variety of procurement agreements, and providing legal support on an ad-hoc basis to a variety of teams.
Leading the legal procurement domain, and collaborating with internal stakeholders in developing, streamlining, and refining the procurement process.
Developing and maintaining Company-wide policies, procedures and trainings regarding various procurement related topics.
Assisting in developing and refining the company's contract management policies and processes.
Working with and managing outside counsel as needed.
Requirements
- 5+ years of legal experience, inclusive of 3+ years of procurement work within an in-house legal department of a high-growth tech/SaaS company.
Experience in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a wide variety of procurement agreements, and in building policies and playbooks.
Experience in collaborating with key internal partners, especially within finance/sourcing, and security/cyber assurance, in building and refining the procurement process.
Experience in working with/on procurement systems (e.g., ZIP), and contract lifecycle management systems (e.g., Ironclad).
Ability to work independently and own projects; strong attention to detail.
Excellent communication, project management, and people management skills; service-oriented and responsive attitude.
JD (or equivalent legal) degree and current Bar admission.
Ability to reside and work full-time in the United States.
Advantage: Experience with US governmental contracting; familiarity with EU, UK, and/or Israeli laws and regulations.
