About the role

  • Prospect and qualify geographically aligned prospects and target based on Miter’s value proposition.
  • Conduct deep discovery and consultative selling to understand contractors' payroll, HR, and field operations needs.
  • Demonstrate the value of Miter's all-in-one platform and effectively position product features.
  • Negotiate and close new logo opportunities, consistently meeting and exceeding monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
  • Partner with internal teams (sales development, launch, customer success) to ensure seamless handoff and successful implementation for new customers.
  • Maintain an organized and accurate forecast, including up-to-date pipeline stages and forecast categories.
  • Bring an entrepreneurial mindset to identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to company growth.
  • Travel within assigned territory for customer meetings, events, and site visits (~75% travel).

Requirements

  • 2+ years of proven success in a quota-carrying, full-cycle B2B software sales role.
  • Experience selling in a fast-paced, high-velocity sales environment.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills; ability to sell at all decision-making levels from project managers to C-level executives.
  • A consultative, solution-oriented sales approach.
  • Ambitious professionals motivated by career growth and stretch opportunities.
  • Proficiency with CRM and opportunity management systems, preferably Salesforce.
  • Willingness to be coached and challenged on a consistent basis.
  • Resilience and a strong ownership mentality; ability to thrive in a dynamic, rapidly evolving market.
  • Experience in the construction, payroll, or related industries is a plus.
  • Role involves approximately 75% travel (12–15 working days per month); must be willing to travel.
