About the role
- Prospect & Qualify: Strategically manage geographically aligned prospects and qualify fit based on Miter’s value proposition.
- Conduct deep discovery and consultative selling to understand contractors' payroll, HR, and field operations needs.
- Demonstrate Miter's all-in-one platform value and integrate key components of running a contractor business.
- Drive business: Negotiate and close new logo opportunities; meet and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales development, launch, customer success) to ensure seamless handoff and implementation.
- Manage pipeline and maintain organized, accurate forecasts including pipeline stages and forecast categories.
- Bring an entrepreneurial "Be a Founder" mindset: identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to company growth.
- Travel to customer meetings, events, and site visits (approx. 75% travel, primarily local/regional within assigned territory).
Requirements
- 2+ years of proven success in a quota-carrying, full-cycle B2B software sales role.
- Experience selling in a fast-paced, high-velocity sales environment.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills; ability to sell at all decision-making levels, from project managers to C-suite.
- Consultative, solution-oriented sales approach.
- Ambitious professionals motivated by career growth and stretch opportunities.
- Proficiency with CRM and opportunity management systems, preferably Salesforce.
- Willingness to be coached and challenged on a consistent basis.
- Resilience and a strong ownership mentality; ability to thrive in a dynamic, rapidly evolving market.
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 75% (12–15 working days per month).
- Experience in the construction, payroll, or related industries is a plus.
