About the role
- This is a remote position with occasional travel to the Indianapolis, Indiana area
- Process Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable transactions for our clients
- Reconciliation of bank and credit card accounts on a monthly basis
- Prepare recurring journal entries
- Work with clients to provide updates and answer questions, escalating to a Controller when necessary
- Use cloud-based accounting software and client-facing apps
- Collaborate with a cross-functional, supportive team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience
- Advanced knowledge of QBO
- Experience with cloud-based accounting software and tools (Bill.com, Tallie, Gusto, etc.) preferred
- Passionate about technology and able to learn new software quickly
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Organized with great attention to detail and an emphasis on creating an excellent customer experience
