About the role
- Accountable for the effectiveness of interactions delivered by WEX marketing automation programs
- Partner with Marketing Automation Engineering talent and cross-functional teams to deliver experiences that drive growth and high customer satisfaction
- Proactively design automated experiences that align with business objectives and achieve target outcomes
- Provide subject matter leadership by staying current on marketing, industry and competitor trends and educating stakeholders
- Collaborate with Automation Engineers, SMEs in Revenue and Product Marketing, designers, and data analysts to execute content across channels
- Oversee creation of behavior-based marketing automation and personalization copy and graphics, including deeply personalized emails and web pages
- Develop dynamic content strategies using data signals and audience attributes to deliver personalized experiences
- Analyze content performance metrics and leverage data insights to inform strategy and optimization
- Drive continuous A/B and multivariate testing and optimization to maximize conversion rates
- Prioritize and oversee delivery of marketing automation content deliverables to meet due dates and quality standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in marketing automation and personalization development
- Strong understanding of marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo, HubSpot, Optimizely)
- Experience with CRM systems, personalization platforms, and analytics tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience building and segmenting audiences
- History of driving optimization through A/B testing and use of AI tools
- Demonstrated ability to work with highly abstract concepts and incomplete information and use sound business judgment
- Additional desirable skills: Experience in B2B marketing; Knowledge of lead scoring and lead management best practices; Experience with A/B testing and experimentation; Customer lifecycle/CRM marketing strategy; Agency - Client Facing; Graphic design and copywriting expertise
