About the role
- Lead aviation infrastructure projects across Colorado and beyond, from concept through construction
- Champion project excellence across planning, design, and construction
- Build and nurture client relationships to strengthen market presence
- Shape and execute business growth strategy aligned with regional goals
- Serve as senior technical expert and client liaison
- Develop scopes, budgets, and schedules while ensuring quality and safety
- Drive business development and help grow the aviation practice in the region
- Mentor junior staff, lead talent recruitment, and foster a culture of innovation and inclusion
- Work closely with regional leadership to expand practice impact and capabilities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field
- 10+ years of aviation engineering experience
- PE License in Colorado required
- Strong knowledge of FAA Design Circulars and airfield geometric layout
- Experience with airfield pavements, hangars, utilities, and airport support facilities
- Strong understanding of FAA Design Circulars and Construction Specifications
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Experience leading airside and landside infrastructure projects from concept through construction
- Experience developing scopes, budgets, and schedules
- Experience mentoring junior staff and driving business development
- Based in or able to work from Lakewood, Colorado office
