About the role
- Take a lead role in North America sales, supporting the Sales Director to win project-driven business
- Strategic development and tactical execution of new business generation
- Deliver focused sales and marketing campaigns to drive revenue growth
- Write business proposals, produce customer forecasts, and negotiate with stakeholders
- Identify and map business strengths and customer needs; research new business opportunities
- Draft and review contracts
- Manage and grow critical global customer accounts; spearhead growth initiatives
- Home-based role requiring regular regional customer visits
Requirements
- Experience of end user sales of technical/engineering products (ideally)
- Preferably experience with rotating equipment
- Strong strategic thinker with business development and account management skills
- Leadership ability to spearhead growth and manage critical global customers
- Outstanding at gaining buy-in from corporate customers and selling across departments
- Ability to develop new business opportunities and upsell/cross-sell
- Excellent communication skills and ability to connect with diverse decision makers
- Proven track record of B2B sales; medium to long cycle selling advantageous
- Comfortable with a home-based role and regular regional customer visits
