Form 1:1 partnerships with Mento members to help them identify & track clear goals, become better leaders, communicate more effectively, and problem-solve work issues
Provide 1:1 coaching to Mento members through virtual sessions using the Mento Platform and Tools
Participate in Mento’s ICF-certified coach training program prior to working with members and attend ongoing training sessions
Communicate with members via Mento email or chat between sessions
Be an integral member of the Mento coaching community by sharing coaching tools and insights to enhance coaching practices
Act as an ambassador of the Mento community by acting with kindness, respect, and empathy
Requirements
A General Counsel, Chief Legal Officer, or other senior legal executive with 20+ years experience leading legal teams either at or adjacent to the technology industry
Relevant experience coaching individuals (coaching certification is a plus but not required)
Willingness to participate in and graduate from Mento’s ICF-certified coach training program
Able to dedicate a minimum of 12+ hours per month to coaching at Mento for the next 24+ months
Capacity to give a minimum of three to five hours per week towards Mento regardless of other commitments
Comfortable working in a constantly-changing startup environment
Self-aware, high emotional IQ, and able to create a safe space for vulnerability
Passionate about helping people advance in the workplace
