About the role

  • Serve as primary point of contact for senior clients and internal leader of projects across 1-2 key accounts exceeding $2M yearly
  • Operate as strategic client partner and project manager, overseeing project budgets and staffing plans
  • Oversee and guide day-to-day activities of account managers and cross-functional project teams to ensure high-quality deliverables
  • Establish deep understanding of clients, competitors, and market conditions to guide team efforts
  • Review and approve all assets for quality control, brand standards, and client expectations
  • Lead business development efforts and identify opportunities for organic account growth; contribute to proposals and new business pitches
  • Become specialist in clients' Legal and Regulatory review processes to ensure clean submissions
  • Provide mentorship and hands-on support across project phases
  • Contribute to agency process development, codification of best practices, and broader agency growth

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience with a proven track record in account and project management roles
  • Experience working in a small-mid-sized agency environment
  • At least 4 years of experience working with healthcare, diagnostics and/or biotech clients
  • Experience working closely with executive teams and managing high-level client relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, grow, and extend meaningful client relationships and drive new business
  • Experience overseeing budgets, staffing plans, and resource allocation
  • Ability to anticipate and identify potential project challenges and implement proactive solutions
  • Concise written and verbal communication skills across all mediums
  • Passion for growth and continuous skill expansion
  • Self-motivated team player with strong soft skills and entrepreneurial problem-solving approach
