About the role
- Report to the Training Director in Robotic Customer Operations
- Deliver Robotic Assisted Surgery (RAS) technology training courses to Health Care Professionals at designated training partner facilities
- Provide support for customer training and training research initiatives and continuous improvement of training programs
- Establish and maintain relationships with external training entities and key stakeholders
- Work cross-functionally with marketing and sales training teams to improve existing training programs
- Support system troubleshooting and maintain capital equipment at training centers, including cleaning and reprocessing instruments and accessories
- Manage training center logistics, inventory, and training calendars in conjunction with key stakeholders
- Travel approximately 50% to collaborate, support customers, and ensure successful project completion
Requirements
- Deliver Robotic Assisted Surgery (RAS) technology training to surgeons, first assistants, and OR staff
- Establish relationships with designated external training entities
- Support RAS System troubleshooting at the training center
- Manage training center logistics, inventory, and training calendars
- Maintain capital equipment, including cleaning and reprocessing of instruments and accessories
- Work with marketing and sales training team to improve existing training programs
- 50% travel required
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 11+ years of relevant experience in a clinical lab setting, clinical training, field sales/support in medical device, healthcare industry or equivalent experience
- OR Associate's Degree with 9+ years experience
- OR Baccalaureate Degree with 7+ years experience
- OR advanced degree with 5+ years of relevant experience (must include experience in Medical Device clinical and/or operating room experience)
- Experience in Med Device Clinical and/or operating room experience required
- Proven experience training on complex topics and/or technology (nice to have)
- Experience in robotic surgery, capital equipment or equivalent technology (nice to have)
- Knowledge of adult learning principles preferred
