Achieve sales revenue targets and grow market share for specified geography by promoting, selling and servicing Medtronic CoreValve and related products post approval
Territory management: develop and execute strategies and plans to achieve/exceed sales quota, maintain/expand existing business and develop new business opportunities
Provide quality technical and clinical support for TAVR implanting centers, including scrubbing in to assist with valve loading and providing in-case technical support
Educate sites on proper indications for TAVR procedures and ensure products are understood and used effectively
Provide comprehensive technical leadership and support including CT reconstruction, imaging modalities, EKG, blood pressure, and ancillary procedural solutions
Liaise with R&D for technology improvements and next generation needs
Represent company at industry conferences and target customers to generate sales leads
Customer service: schedule cases, respond to customer requests, resolve complaints, report device complaints, and assist with billing PO’s and inventory management
Training and education: participate in physician training, case observations, train new hires, and participate in product/skills development programs
Administrative responsibilities: maintain accurate account and territory records, forecast implants, manage CoreValve inventory, submit expense reports, and maintain hospital eligibility/access
Communication: establish and maintain relationships with key decision makers, communicate market intelligence and competitor activity, and maintain high level of communication with CVG sales and leadership
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree (required)
7+ years medical industry sales experience (selling physician preference products) OR 3+ years of B2B sales and 4+ years medical industry sales experience OR 3+ years MDT TDS experience and 4+ years medical industry sales experience
Ability to travel with overnight stay up to 50 - 75% of the time (geography variability)
Valid driver’s license for state of residency and active vehicle insurance policy; driving record will be reviewed
Ability to lift 20 pounds
Hearing, sight and speaking ability
Ability to use computers and CT reconstruction programs
Ability to travel extensively by car and plane
Ability to wear lead apron for long periods of time (2-3hrs on average)
Ability to operate a moving vehicle
Ability to work in Cath Labs or OR’s with radiation exposure
Ability to conduct company business outside typical Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm schedule
Knowledge of CoreValve and other Medtronic TAVR product IFUs for safe and effective use of devices
Comprehensive clinical and technical product knowledge, including imaging modalities (echo/angiography/CT), EKG, blood pressure, wave forms
CT reconstruction expertise and imaging interpretation experience (TTE or TEE, CT, Angiograms) (preferred)
Interventional cardiac or vascular experience (wires, balloons, catheters, stents) and EVAR/TEVAR or SAVR experience preferred
Proven medical device sales track record and ability to launch new devices (preferred)
Experience managing multiple accounts and calling on C-Suite customers (preferred)
Prior experience teaching and educating medical personnel and peers (preferred)
Compliance with hospital credentialing and ability to meet site credentialing requirements
Authorization to work in the country of employment (E-Verify program participation noted)
