U.S. remote-based Endoscopy Account Manager II calling on healthcare organizations (hospitals, Ambulatory Surgery Centers, practices) in a defined geographic area
Serve as customer-facing product expert educating physicians and nurses on clinical advantages of the entire GI product portfolio
Expand utilization of endoscopy products through market development and sales-oriented activities; achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales quotas
Collaborate with field Strategic Account Managers and internal partners (Clinical Product Specialists, Technical Support, Finance, Customer Service, Sales Support)
Deliver clinical education and in-services (including via Zoom); demonstrate product applications, functionality and use
Develop in-depth clinical knowledge of GI and HPB anatomy and articulate clinical and journal literature
Provide reimbursement guidance, solution-oriented strategies to facilitate product adoption, and successfully launch new devices in territory
Accurately forecast sales, manage pipeline via Salesforce.com, perform administrative tasks (expense reports, sales reports), and complete required online trainings
Adhere to Medtronic code of conduct and support cross-functional collaboration; role requires ~20% travel
Requirements
Bachelors degree required
Minimum of 3 years of sales experience required
Inside Sales/Remote Sales experience (nice to have)
Previous inside sales experience with Medtronic (nice to have)
Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in Life Sciences, Medicine, or Business preferred
Medical device experience preferred
Experience working in SFDC
Experience selling in a new or changed sales channel
Demonstrated formal sales skills training, preferably from a Fortune 500 company
Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas
Good computer skills with Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Excel, Word
Established business planning and forecasting experience
Excellence in process management and organizational agility
Strong desire to learn and grow professionally
Ability to perform online trainings within assigned timelines
Willingness to travel ~20%
Must comply with hospital credentialing requirements for patient-facing field employees
