About the role
- Lead human factors engineering activities for the Wearable External Neurostimulator (WENS) program supporting Spinal Cord Stimulation therapies
- Author Task Analyses (TAs), Use Error Analyses (UEAs), and User Interface Design Documents (UIDDs)
- Plan and conduct formative and summative usability studies in the field and synthesize findings
- Communicate insights to leadership and cross-functional teams
- Contribute human factors documentation to support FDA and EU MDR regulatory submissions
- Apply human-centered design to solve complex challenges for patients and healthcare providers
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required with a minimum of 4 years of Human Factor Engineering experience
- Or Master's degree with a minimum of 2 years of Human Factor Engineering experience
- Or PhD with 0 years of experience
- Advance degree in Human Factor Engineering, Cognitive Psychology, HCI, or closely related field is preferred
- Experience with medical device standards, regulations, and compliance
- Comfortable working in Figma, Miro, and Great Question (or similar tools)
- Ability to travel up to 20%
