About the role

  • Work with other IT business analysts and business counterparts to develop and enhance ServiceNow to support global Service & Repair strategy.
  • Assess, design, and develop enhancements for ServiceNow used to support Case Management processes for medical equipment used in hospitals.
  • Engage with business leaders to understand strategies and data-driven changes to improve efficiencies and add value.
  • Work with data sets to define use cases to improve products, processes and/or services.
  • Collaborate with BRM, business stakeholders and IT Product Owners / Managers to develop business requirements for product or system changes.
  • Drive business agenda during solution delivery process.
  • Analyze data and trends to develop recommendations to solve business problems.
  • Lead business requirement discussions and translate needs into functional specifications and business process maps for medium complex changes.
  • Participate in project and design reviews to ensure compliance with Medtronic Global IT policies, principles, and standards.
  • Drive changes and enhancements through change management process including coordination, stakeholder communication, functional unit tests, UAT, cutover tasks and hyper care support.
  • Coordinate development and support activities with external partners.
  • Build and maintain knowledge repository.
  • Provide 3rd level support for ServiceNow issues, analyze and help resolve software related issues escalated by support team and recommend solutions.
  • Support SNOW application integrations and learn dependencies with other systems like SAP.
  • Work with stakeholders in different time zones and comply with global IT validation procedures.
  • Participate in internal and external training programs to enhance technical and soft skills.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of IT experience with Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, MCA, or MSc.
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability, self-motivation, enthusiasm, positive attitude and perform as a team player.
  • Working in a methodical and detailed manner.
  • Excellent communicative skills, especially in English.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts in clear verbiage to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong background in SNOW CSM module.
  • Experience with gathering, documenting and challenging business requirements.
  • Ability to work from our Medtronic facility in Hyderabad minimum 3 days per week.
