About the role

  • Program Manager for the Automation Center of Excellence (CoE) leading design, execution, governance of system-wide automation initiatives across the health system Foster culture of digital innovation focusing on intelligent automation including RPA, AI-enabled automations, NLP, and IDP Develop business cases, drive opportunity discovery, manage automation pipeline, ensure delivery of measurable ROI Lead automation CoE strategy, execution, stakeholder alignment across clinical, business, and IT functions Promote continuous improvement and align automation with core platforms: ERP, Automation Platform, EHR, ESM, AI Agentic Tools Champion culture & change management, run communication campaigns, training, workshops Collaborate with departments to discover and assess automation opportunities involving RPA and AI tools Guide business case development quantifying labor savings, accuracy improvements, turnaround time reductions, patient/staff experience enhancements Maintain and refine automation pipeline; track lifecycle and prioritize Establish KPIs for automation initiatives and report on adoption and realized benefits Serve as liaison between operational, clinical, IT, analytics, and vendor stakeholders Design and deliver learning resources and enablement strategies to build automation and AI literacy

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Information Systems, or related field required Master’s degree in Business, Healthcare Informatics, or Technology preferred Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher) preferred 5+ years of experience in healthcare operations, digital transformation, or process improvement Knowledge of AI-enabled technologies (e.g., machine learning, NLP, computer vision) and their application in business and healthcare settings Familiarity with RPA and intelligent automation platforms (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Microsoft Power Platform) Strong analytical skills with the ability to define ROI and track performance metrics Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Preferred: Experience with health IT platforms (e.g., Epic, Workday, ServiceNow) Certification or formal training in AI/ML or automation development Change management experience using models such as ADKAR or Kotter
