About the role
- Define and execute the global strategy to expand Sonicision use across multiple specialties (e.g., General Surgery, Gynecology, ENT, Thoracic, Urology)
- Identify and prioritize procedural opportunities to maximize market penetration
- Conduct in-depth market analysis, clinical landscape assessment, and competitor benchmarking to uncover unmet needs and guide portfolio evolution
- Partner with regions to gather customer insights and translate them into actionable strategies
- Lead the lifecycle strategy for Sonicision, balancing short-term adoption drivers with long-term product enhancements
- Define global positioning and differentiation in alignment with procedural expansion goals
- Collaborate with R&D, Clinical, Health Economics, Regulatory, and Regional Marketing to ensure robust support for Sonicision adoption
- Influence product specifications and development roadmap to address procedural requirements
- Develop global launch and growth strategies, campaigns, and messaging tailored to specialty-specific value drivers
- Partner with Professional Education and Medical Affairs to drive surgeon training and evidence generation
- Support downstream teams with tools, claims, and marketing assets
- Serve as global subject matter expert, representing Sonicision with KOLs, societies, and internal stakeholders
- Support field teams with clinical messaging and objection handling
- Travel globally approximately 25% and work onsite minimum 4 days per week
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 7+ years of relevant marketing/marketing product management experience or advanced degree with a minimum of 5+ years of relevant marketing/marketing product management experience
- Proven track record in global or regional product management, ideally within surgical or energy-based devices
- Strong experience developing and executing portfolio growth strategies, including competitive positioning and market expansion
- Excellent cross-functional leadership and project management skills
- Strong analytical ability to interpret clinical and market data into actionable insights
- MBA or advanced degree in life sciences, marketing, or business (nice to have)
- Experience in procedural marketing and working across multiple surgical specialties (nice to have)
- Familiarity with ultrasonic energy or other energy-based surgical platforms (nice to have)
- Strong network within the surgical community (nice to have)
- Experience with health economics and clinical evidence integration into marketing strategy (nice to have)
- Able to work onsite minimum 4 days per week
- Position based in Lafayette, Colorado (preferred), North Haven, Connecticut, or Boston, Massachusetts; not open to remote
- Willingness to travel globally approximately 25%
