About the role

  • Build and manage executive-level relationships with strategic healthcare providers and key decision-makers
  • Develop account business plans aligned with customer priorities
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with internal Business Units to optimize pricing strategies and drive market share
  • Identify new business opportunities and co-create solutions with partners to enable sustainable growth
  • Lead the negotiation and execution of long-term contracts with key accounts
  • Shape portfolio strategy and operational plans tailored to specific account needs
  • Support the launch of new Medtronic technologies and establish research collaborations within assigned Accounts
  • Collaborate across all Medtronic Business Units and Centers of Competence to engage with C-suite stakeholders
  • Report to the Director of Enterprise Accounts Italy and work as a field-based manager with national or regional scope
  • Regular travel required to meet with assigned Accounts

Requirements

  • Fluency in Italian and English
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 5 years in sales or business development
  • Proven experience in managing strategic accounts and negotiating complex agreements
  • Understanding of value-based healthcare and ability to tailor solutions accordingly
  • Advanced knowledge of healthcare systems and customer decision-making processes
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and strategic-planning skills
  • Experience in healthcare B2B Solution selling
  • Ideally: experience with public and private healthcare stakeholders
  • Ideally: experience in the medical device industry within Medtronic therapeutic areas
  • Ideally: experience leading a Business Unit or managing a sales district
  • Ideally: MBA or prior work at a major consulting firm
  • Advantage: background or training in medicine
  • Regular travel required to meet with assigned Accounts
  • For sales reps and patient-facing field employees: compliance with hospital/clinic credentialing requirements
