About the role

  • Designs, develops, analyzes, troubleshoots and provides technical skills during research and/or product development
  • Designs studies to investigate specific life science questions within field of expertise
  • May be involved in product research and development and/or clinical trials
  • Translates research discoveries into usable and marketable products
  • Formulates, delivers and/or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results
  • May act as a mentor to colleagues or may direct the work of other lower level professionals
  • Works independently with general supervision on larger, moderately complex projects/assignments
  • Contributes to completion of project milestones and may be involved in cross-functional assignments
  • Communicates primarily and frequently with internal contacts to share information, status, needs and issues
  • Adheres to policies and applies specialized knowledge and skills to deliver R&D, systems or initiatives related to new technologies or therapies

Requirements

  • Requires a Baccalaureate degree (or for degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree which satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A)) and minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 0 years of experience
  • Practical knowledge and demonstrated competence within job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience
  • Ability to design, develop, analyze, and troubleshoot during research and product development
  • Ability to design studies to investigate specific life science questions within field of expertise
  • Ability to translate research discoveries into usable and marketable products
  • Ability to formulate, deliver and/or manage projects and work with stakeholders
  • May act as a mentor to colleagues or direct the work of lower level professionals
  • Regularly required to be independently mobile
  • Regularly required to interact with a computer and communicate with peers and co-workers
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States (employer participates in the federal E-Verify program)
