About the role

  • U.S. remote-based Medtronic Endoscopy Operating Unit sales position calling on healthcare organizations (hospitals, Ambulatory Surgery Centers, practices) in a defined geographic area
  • Serve as customer-facing product expert educating physicians and nurses on clinical advantages of the GI product portfolio
  • Expand utilization of endoscopy products through market development and sales-oriented activities
  • Continually develop clinical knowledge to serve as product expert for the company
  • Work closely with Clinical Product Specialists, Technical Support, Finance, Customer Service, and Sales Support to coordinate efforts
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales quotas by driving incremental product adoption
  • Educate physicians and clinical personnel on use of Endoscopy products and demonstrate product applications via Zoom
  • Establish relationships with gastroenterologists, endoscopic surgeons, interventional radiologists, HPB surgeons, administrative and lab personnel
  • Understand and communicate the reimbursement process for products
  • Provide solution-oriented strategies to facilitate product adoption and accelerate sales growth
  • Successfully launch new devices in the assigned territory
  • Demonstrate disease state expertise and articulate clinical and journal articles in relevant disease states
  • Accurately forecast monthly and quarterly sales and effectively manage pipeline via Salesforce.com (SFDC)
  • Perform administrative responsibilities: expense reports, sales reports, online trainings, and adhere to Medtronic code of conduct

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree required
  • 0 years of experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis in Life Sciences, Medicine, or Business preferred
  • Inside Sales/Remote Sales experience (nice to have)
  • Medical device experience (nice to have)
  • Experience working in SFDC
  • Experience selling in a new or changed sales channel
  • Demonstrated formal sales skills training, preferably from a Fortune 500 company
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas
  • Established business planning and forecasting experience
  • Excellence in process management and organizational agility
  • Good computer skills with specific skills in Microsoft Office: Power point, Excel, and Word
  • Strong desire to learn and grow professionally
  • Ability to comply with hospital/clinic credentialing requirements
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.; employer participates in the federal E-Verify program
