About the role

  • Lead the nationwide commercial launch and market development for Medtronic’s InPen
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategy and cross-functional commercial efforts (sales, marketing, training, enablement)
  • Build and manage a sales team to drive adoption and growth among primary care HCPs and other stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Medtronic’s Diabetes sales force focused on endocrinologists to ensure consistent messaging
  • Use social media and digital tools to amplify InPen’s message and enhance customer engagement
  • Oversee program management, sales forecasting, competitive analysis, and leverage data to identify opportunities
  • Travel ~70% across the United States and coordinate with the Northridge, CA office
  • Foster entrepreneurial culture, inspire innovation, and drive results in the smart insulin pen market

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of relevant medical device/pharmaceutical/healthcare sales experience
  • OR An advanced degree with 8 years of relevant medical device/pharmaceutical/healthcare sales experience
  • Master’s degree in a related field (nice to have)
  • Proven success in sales leadership roles, especially targeting primary care HCPs
  • Experience leading or collaborating with a contract sales force
  • Expertise in sales forecasting, strategy development, and market expansion
  • Experience with diabetes therapy management, including CGMs, insulin pens, and pumps
  • Knowledge of competitive intelligence, program management, and leveraging social media for customer engagement
  • Strong financial acumen, including budget and P&L management
  • Willingness to travel approximately 70% and work field-based across the U.S.
  • Must comply with credentialing requirements at hospitals/clinics (patient-facing roles)
