About the role

  • Drive surgeon demand across the full Surgical COT portfolio (Stapling, Energy, Suture, Electrosurgery, Situate, Access & Instrumentation)
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans and account-level contractual strategies
  • Identify practice trends and cultivate key customer relationships to drive market growth and adoption
  • Work closely with clinical and administrative stakeholders to expand business opportunities and execute business reviews
  • Serve as main point of contact across Medtronic account teams (DM, SAD, SOS) and specialty teams (GYN, Hernia)
  • Optimize contracts and drive category expansion across Surgical
  • Own and execute quarterly Customer Business Reviews to evaluate performance and identify growth opportunities
  • Drive adoption and utilization of Surgical COT products and maximize partnership programs with field distribution partners
  • Leverage account intelligence to increase market share and contribute to regional/national conversion efforts
  • Meet key performance metrics: disposable and hardware quotas, expand contract categories, improve opportunity management and forecasting accuracy

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience
  • Field-based role requiring 50% travel within the territory
  • Must reside within the territory and drive to multiple accounts
  • Valid driver's license
  • Proven track record in sales within medical device or healthcare industry (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of clinical environments and ability to communicate complex product information
  • Experience building and managing key customer relationships with clinical and administrative decision-makers
  • Ability to analyze business trends and develop actionable strategies
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., SF.com) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Compliance with hospital/clinic credentialing requirements for patient-facing field employees
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. (employer participates in federal E-Verify program)
