Requirements
You have a degree/certificate in new media/digital design, graphic design, or art direction
You have 3-5 year experience (internships included) in a fast-paced agency environment, and can work quickly to juggle multiple tasks under tight deadlines
You’re comfortable following direction, receiving feedback, and asking questions
You know your way around Adobe Creative Suite and Figma like the back of your hand, and have a basic knowledge of UX/prototyping software.
You have a solid portfolio of work across a variety of digital platforms
You have a strong understanding of graphic design, typography, technology and digital standards, and can make informed recommendations to improve the work
You can quickly create pixel-perfect designs that support our clients’ communications goals and objectives
You check your ego at the door: you’re a team player, ready to jump into any request, and eager to support the agency in any way possible
You’re collaborative, curious, and a genuinely good human
You’re more than comfortable communicating and collaborate with copywriters, designers, developers, and your account team partners in a way that elevates everyone’s work and builds confidence across the team
You have an interest in further developing your strategy skills, including exploring the research, insights, and theories that are the foundations for big ideas and creative concepts
You have a personal design POV that informs your work, while also keeping the end user in mind
You can objectively tell a good idea from a great one, even (and especially) when it’s not your own
You’re able to thoughtfully design and craft the story for client and agency presentation decks, taking content and flow into account as much as the visual aesthetic
You’re comfortable presenting your work to clients, not only talking through the visual execution but also the strategy, insight, and approach behind it
You proactively seek-out new perspectives, ideas, and opportunities to bring to the creative team, and the agency as a whole, to continually expand our work and thinking
You excel at juggling multiple projects and deadlines, but also know your own pace and capacity and aren’t afraid to speak up if/when you need help
You’re willing to get crafty and understand that regardless of budget (nonprofits don’t always have a lot), it’s our job to figure out how to do great work.
You’re genuinely driven by a passion to make a difference, not just make money, although we’re here to help you do both.
