Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, analyzing and posting entries within our accounting systems in a timely and precise manner.
Process accounts payable invoices, payroll, manage vendor relationships, and ensure timely payments.
Record and reconcile daily transactions, including revenue, cash receipts, payroll entries, and expense classifications.
Manage medical insurance receivables cycle (billing, rejection management, denial resolution, collections, documentation and reporting) using ClaimMD and other insurance billing systems.
Processes remittances via mail. Including scanning and documenting submissions, claims denials and regulatory agency correspondence.
Collaborate with the operational team to ensure financial goals are met.
Support the financial team with reporting and ad hoc projects.
Requirements
2+ years of experience in medical insurance claims management (billing, coding, etc.) within a clinical or specialty practice setting—preferably using ClaimMD or a comparable system.
Proven experience with bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll functions.
Solid understanding of State and Federal healthcare laws and regulations (HIPAA).
Experience with bank reconciliations and financial statement preparation.
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and advanced Google Sheets / Excel skills.
Strong grasp of the medical claims cycle, including billing, denial management, and collections.
Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Ethical, professional, and able to maintain strict confidentiality.
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
Familiarity with third-party claim inquiry tools and other medical billing platforms (Preferred).
Experience working in a telehealth, behavioral health, or clinical environment (Preferred).
