• Own full-cycle recruiting for Mechanism HQ and portfolio companies — from sourcing through offer close.
• Build high-signal pipelines for growth, product, and operations roles.
• Partner with hiring managers to anticipate hiring needs and shape role definitions.
• Engineer a high-velocity, high-touch candidate experience; every interaction should reflect our brand and standards.
• Leverage data (response rates, conversion, speed-to-hire) to continuously improve recruiting systems.
• Own ATS functions (Pinpoint or Ashby), including job postings, pipelines, and reporting.
• Develop scalable, repeatable recruiting processes across companies at different stages.
• Partner with our HR manager to support HR functions: onboarding, offboarding, compliance, employee records, and process automation.
• Partner with leadership to design and roll out people systems that support Top Performer identification and retention.
• Build automations and workflows to improve speed and accuracy across HR operations.
• Support performance management cycles (e.g., eNPS, Accelerant/Drag surveys, Top Performer verification, performance reviews, etc.).
• Maintain documentation and policies that support a high-trust, high-velocity culture.

Recruiting & People Partner

Bookkeeper

• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, analyzing and posting entries within our accounting systems in a timely and precise manner.
• Process accounts payable invoices, payroll, manage vendor relationships, and ensure timely payments.
• Record and reconcile daily transactions, including revenue, cash receipts, payroll entries, and expense classifications.
• Manage medical insurance receivables cycle (billing, rejection management, denial resolution, collections, documentation and reporting) using ClaimMD and other insurance billing systems.
• Processes remittances via mail. Including scanning and documenting submissions, claims denials and regulatory agency correspondence.
• Collaborate with the operational team to ensure financial goals are met.
• Support the financial team with reporting and ad hoc projects.

Medical Bookkeeper

• Own and scale our recruiting engine for licensed clinicians and physicians.
• Drive the entire pipeline—sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing—at speed and scale.
• Find and engage clinicians across the country, moving them quickly and smoothly through the process.

• Position Description: We are hiring a Senior Accountant who will work with our Finance team to support Mechanism Ventures and Portfolio Companies. Reporting directly to the Controller, you will be responsible for the review of a variety of processes. You will also recommend process improvements and may lead their ‘roll-out’ to the Accountants. Mechanism strives to automate recurring tasks and you will play an important role in such initiatives.
• Each Finance team member promotes rapid, efficient communication among a variety of stakeholders in order to successfully operate in a dynamic and fast-paced group of companies. This includes a network of employees, contractors, CEO’s, Practice Area Leaders, vendors, etc., within the US and those who may be located internationally.
