Meet all pharmacy operations support needs of the pharmacies within the company
Manage training projects and documentation development for assigned applications
Monitor helpdesk and equipment needs, and general operations support
Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enable employees to develop competence in computer software and systems
Maintain positive relationships with pharmacy, clinical, management, and hospital staff as an ambassador of VytlOne
Work in conjunction with the Operations Manager to assure compliance with service expectations and achievement of performance goals and objectives
Prepare reports and maintain records as requested or required
Develop, implement, and deliver training programs for all levels of pharmacy personnel
Coordinate training schedule with members of management
Develop and maintain continual education support materials for specialized pharmacy systems
Confer with management, supervisors and employees to identify training needs and changes in policies, procedures, regulations, and/or business technologies
Test trainees to measure progress and evaluate effectiveness of training and frequently report on progress
Participate in maintenance of corporate compliance and legal board of pharmacy inspection parameters
Monitor methods used by employees for Guardian Rx and/or POS and make on the spot corrections when needed
Assist employees with problems concerning how to perform specific tasks related to pharmacy systems
Assist with staff training and implementation of processes related to accreditation, Continuous Quality Improvement, Performance Improvement projects, Quality Management, and compliance with accreditation standards
Perform routine internal audits to monitor quality markers and reporting metrics to improve pharmacy quality and maintain accreditation compliance
May serve as Performance Improvement Coordinator and participate in related meetings
Perform other job-related duties as required
Requirements
High School Diploma/GED required; some college coursework preferred
PTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certification) required
Minimum of 4 years of Pharmacy experience required
Previous pharmacy system training experience preferred
Must maintain current Pharmacy Technician Certification and State Registration (if applicable)
Experience typing prescriptions required
Working knowledge of desktop computers, including Windows applications
Ability to type with speed and accuracy
Scheduling experience for less than 20 employees
Experience in managing inventories
Ability to assess needs related to pharmacy practices and systems and training programs and materials to target these needs
Knowledge of pharmacy accreditation and certification requirements such as ACHC and URAC Specialty Pharmacy Accreditation
Must be detail oriented, be able to work independently, and must have solid self-motivation skills
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
