Supports underwriters by evaluating and processing commercial insurance applications and submissions
Gathers and reviews documentation, enters data into underwriting systems, and prepares quotes
Communicates with agents and brokers to ensure submissions are complete and accurate
Processes automated and manual transactions: quotes, new business, renewals, endorsements, audits, cancellations, interim billings, and related activities
Sets up and manually rates transactions not fully automated and completes manual transactions including forms and Declarations
Monitors emails and assigned work; records statistical information for reports; reconciles inconsistencies across systems
Assists with Bond tasks and special projects as assigned
Participates in team training, follows group expectations, organizes and prioritizes workload independently
Applies new knowledge through practice and feedback; works with CSS and other teams to resolve errors and account or agency issues
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum of one (1) years’ experience in a clerical support position, preferably in the property/casualty insurance industry
