About the role
- Verify coverage, investigate, evaluate, and resolve Personal Injury Protection (PIP) and Medical Payments (MedPay) claims
- Manage PIP and MedPay claims from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and fairness
- Review and interpret medical records, bills, accident reports, and legal documents to determine coverage and compensability
- Utilize knowledge of No-Fault/PIP laws, rules, and regulations to deliver sound claim outcomes
- Navigate state regulations while working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
- Provide timely and clear updates to all parties throughout the claims process
- Assess accident facts, injuries, and medical bills for causation and appropriate resolution
- Handle incidents involving litigation with guidance from leaders or peers
- Leverage advanced claims knowledge to manage your own inventory and make sound decisions
- Drive seamless service with attention to detail and accountability
Requirements
- 3–5 years of bodily injury claims handling required
- PIP/MedPay and Michigan No-Fault experience strongly preferred
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred
- Must maintain state-mandated adjuster licensure
- Strong communication (written and verbal), leadership, and conflict resolution abilities
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage a caseload independently while delivering excellent service
