Lead a portion of the Employer Sales Team, spearheading growth by creating market demand and developing prospect and buyer level strategies
Architect deals and contract terms that increase revenue and position Maven to scale
Manage the team through the sales process - qualification to close
Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing your team
Build and increase pipeline across assigned market segment(s)
Work with VP Sales to manage recruiting, objective setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales reps
Present sales and revenue reports and forecasts to the management team
Represent Maven at industry events and conferences
Help develop and maintain a network of relationships with key stakeholders and influencers in healthcare: brokers, payers, benefits admin. platforms, exchanges
Contribute to the sales strategy and process that results in landing new clients
Report to the VP of Employer Sales
Evangelize Maven’s voice with passion and credibility across team, prospects, consultants and the market
Requirements
5+ years of experience managing a winning sales team focused ideally selling to HR/Benefits
Experience sourcing and hiring top talent and coaching high performing sales team members
Successful track record closing complex deals, ideally selling to HR/Benefits
Proven track record of building, negotiating and closing deals by working across all levels at an organization
Ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships
Strong written and communication skills
Thoughtful and organized collaborator, working with and leading cross-functional teams
Experience in Salesforce
A network of relationships with key stakeholders in healthcare: brokers, benefits admin. Platforms, etc. (helpful)
Passion for documenting and contributing new ideas and feedback from market to product (helpful)
Experience working cross-functionally in a face paced start-up environment (helpful)
Active work authorization in the US (required)
