About the role
- Own a portfolio of 4 - 5 accounts, building lasting executive-level relationships (Director to VP)
- Act as a trusted advisor, helping clients solve business challenges and accelerate growth
- Lead account planning and design integrated marketing solutions that connect to client business objectives
- Anticipate evolving challenges and connect clients with the right strategies, experts, and tools
- Inspire clients and internal teams with a clear, forward-looking vision
- Oversee revenue forecasting, budgets, and margin performance for accounts
- Ensure projects deliver on time, on budget, and on brief while driving measurable ROI
- Balance client value with agency growth and champion win-win outcomes
- Partner closely with Strategy, Media, Creative, and Technology to deliver seamless solutions
- Mentor account managers and emerging leaders to strengthen performance and elevate client impact
Requirements
- 8+ years of account management or client leadership experience, ideally in a B2B agency environment
- Proven track record managing complex accounts and senior client relationships
- Strong understanding of integrated B2B marketing (ABM, demand gen, content, digital)
- Commercial acumen with experience managing forecasts, budgets, and profitability
- Familiarity with modern marketing tech stacks (CRM, MAPs, analytics)
- Outstanding communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Balance of big-picture strategic thinking and roll-up-your-sleeves execution
- Required to work EST hours (remote role)
- Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada without visa sponsorship
