About the role

  • Own and grow a portfolio of small-to-mid-sized restaurant clients as a quota-bearing role focused on cross-sell, upsell, and expansion revenue
  • Conduct account reviews with key stakeholders to uncover underutilized features, educate operators, and position additional MarginEdge solutions that align with their needs
  • Build strong relationships with operators and decision makers, becoming a trusted advisor while driving sales growth
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets for expansion and upsell revenue
  • Partner with marketing, product, and support teams to design campaigns, resources, and solutions that accelerate expansion opportunities
  • Maintain detailed account plans and forecasts, accurately tracking pipeline and progress in Salesforce
  • Serve as a point contact for resources on training and services for MarginEdge tools (inventory, budgeting, recipe costing, etc.) to help clients realize value and naturally progress toward add-on purchases
  • Capture and relay client feedback to internal teams to influence product roadmap and customer experience improvements
  • Participate in occasional travel for client reviews, trainings, or company-wide events
  • Act as a trusted advisor by conducting consultative account reviews, uncovering underutilized features, and recommending additional MarginEdge solutions

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience with demonstrated success in a quota-carrying sales, account management, or customer success role, with a proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding quota
  • Hands-on front/back-of-house restaurant experience in a managerial role (multi-unit experience a plus, but not required)
  • Strong communication and consultative selling skills—able to guide without being “salesy”
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, ChurnZero, or other CRM/engagement tools a plus
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and adaptable in a fast-scaling environment
  • Entrepreneurial mindset & a builder mentality
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite
  • Team player who can also work independently
  • Full-time availability during 9am–6pm EST
