About the role
- Own and evolve the onboarding and launch strategy to meet organizational growth objectives and franchisee performance standards.
- Define key metrics and performance indicators to measure onboarding effectiveness and franchisee ramp-up.
- Align onboarding outcomes with broader operational, brand, and financial goals across all franchise brands under Threshold.
- Directly manage a team of onboarding specialists, including hiring, performance management, coaching, and development.
- Foster a high-performance team culture rooted in accountability, service excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the development and execution of a phased, multi-modal onboarding curriculum (virtual, in-person, field-based).
- Serve as an executive-level partner and coach for new franchisees during their first 6–12 months post-launch.
- Collaborate closely with internal departments (Marketing, Operations, Legal, Finance, IT) to ensure end-to-end onboarding success.
- Leverage data dashboards and reporting tools to monitor onboarding performance, franchisee health, and program impact.
Requirements
- 5+ years in franchise operations, training and development, or new business onboarding, with 2+ years in a leadership or director-level role.
- Proven experience managing teams, setting performance goals, and leading with a people-first mindset.
- Deep understanding of franchise models, small business operations, and early-stage business growth.
- Demonstrated expertise in instructional design, adult learning, and multi-channel training delivery.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to coach franchisees in sales, marketing, and financial performance.
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in tools such as Salesforce, G-Suite, Microsoft Office, LMS platforms, and data dashboards.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to travel as needed to support in-person training and franchisee launches.
