About the role

  • Prepare and follow up on quotations to secure orders and convert quotes into sales
  • Proactively chase outstanding enquiries to maximise conversion rates
  • Manage Category C & D accounts to maintain and grow business opportunities
  • Track and manage all sales activity in HubSpot to ensure accurate pipeline visibility
  • Champion the management and conversion of forensic leads into confirmed sales
  • Act as the first point of contact for inbound sales enquiries and build customer relationships
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities and address client issues professionally
  • Support delivery of the company’s sales plan and generate/qualify leads through targeted outbound activity
  • Assist and follow up on accounts managed by Sales Account Managers and reactivate smaller or dormant accounts
  • Work with Production, Operations, and Marketing to ensure accurate and timely order fulfilment
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM and provide regular reports on pipeline, conversion rates, and sales performance
  • Act as a HubSpot and Sales Forensics champion, promoting best practices and process adherence
  • Persuade prospects that ADS’s products or services best meet their needs in terms of quality, price, and delivery

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a B2B sales office (sales, account management, administration, or customer service)
  • Desire to progress in a sales career
  • Experience in engineering, manufacturing, or the sheet metal industry is advantageous
  • Experience using CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) is highly desirable
  • Confident in using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • Ability to quickly learn new software
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of the sales process
