About the role
- Prepare and follow up on quotations to secure orders and convert quotes into sales
- Proactively chase outstanding enquiries to maximise conversion rates
- Manage Category C & D accounts to maintain and grow business opportunities
- Track and manage all sales activity in HubSpot to ensure accurate pipeline visibility
- Champion the management and conversion of forensic leads into confirmed sales
- Act as the first point of contact for inbound sales enquiries and build customer relationships
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities and address client issues professionally
- Support delivery of the company’s sales plan and generate/qualify leads through targeted outbound activity
- Assist and follow up on accounts managed by Sales Account Managers and reactivate smaller or dormant accounts
- Work with Production, Operations, and Marketing to ensure accurate and timely order fulfilment
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM and provide regular reports on pipeline, conversion rates, and sales performance
- Act as a HubSpot and Sales Forensics champion, promoting best practices and process adherence
- Persuade prospects that ADS’s products or services best meet their needs in terms of quality, price, and delivery
Requirements
- Previous experience in a B2B sales office (sales, account management, administration, or customer service)
- Desire to progress in a sales career
- Experience in engineering, manufacturing, or the sheet metal industry is advantageous
- Experience using CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) is highly desirable
- Confident in using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Ability to quickly learn new software
- Commercial awareness and understanding of the sales process

- Salary: £30,000 per annum DOE
