• Serve as technical lead for contractor-conducted research projects in fish ecophysiology and behavior
• Lead the design and execution of advanced experiments assessing auditory thresholds and behavioral responses in marine fish species
• Lead multi-year research initiatives and develop grant proposals
• Plan and execute laboratory experiments using ABR and respirometry; collect physiological, behavioral, histopathological, and acoustic data

• Responsibilities: Serve as IOCM GIS Data Outreach Coordinator/GIS Specialist; Maintain the US Mapping Coordination website and geodatabase; Maintain groups and data/services in ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS REST Server, allowing for data coordination and review by multiple agencies such as USGS, USDA, FEMA, EPA, and USACE and ensuring consistency in mapping surveys
• Initiate, coordinate, and develop regional spatial priorities studies using ArcGIS web applications
• Analyze, present, and facilitate discussions on U.S. ocean and Great Lakes mapping priorities and data acquisition activities to government and non-government stakeholder groups, allowing for multi-partner, collaborative activities

• Serve as IOCM Regional Mapping Coordinator and NOMEC Executive Secretary.
• Coordinate Federal, State agency, academic, and other seafloor mapping stakeholder activities and priorities in the Great Lakes region and participate in associated meetings and events.
• Support activities of the National Ocean Mapping, Exploration, and Characterization (NOMEC) Council and Interagency Working Group on Ocean and Coastal Mapping (IWG-OCM), including designing and tracking strategic progress metrics and authoring congressional reports, newsletters, and briefing materials.
• Support interagency ocean and coastal mapping activities, including meeting preparation, facilitation and closeout, as well as preparation and delivery of presentations to broad audiences.
