About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide instructional and design leadership for national educator Professional Development (PD)
  • effort, including program/presentation design, agendas, content, and videos
  • Work with a network of Professional Development Facilitators
  • Maintain and train a network of internal and external workshop facilitators
  • Serve as the Alliance Partner site coordinator liaison
  • Regularly present workshops and promote offerings
  • Oversee advertising and guides PD evaluation(s) and summative workshop evaluations
  • Manage Professional Development Workshops for educators
  • Collaborate with NOAA Office of Ocean Exploration and Research to provide project coordination

  • Ability to design and deliver professional learning opportunities
  • Experience in managing networks of facilitators and in partnership coordination
  • Demonstrated experience in workshop management and educational program development
