About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Inter-agency Coordination: Planning and coordinating between NOPP and ONR representatives, including managing Inter-agency Agreement (IAA) drafts and facilitating and planning monthly Inter-agency Work Group (IWG) meetings, to include the preparation of meeting agendas and minutes, to ensure cross-agency strategic alignment.
- Financial and Spend Planning: Coordinating with the OER Administration and Finance Division to document project funding transfers and formulating the annual NOPP spend plan to ensure fiscal alignment.
- Reporting and Outreach: Coordinating the development of the NOPP Annual Report and executing outreach initiatives to expand program visibility; and briefing leadership on inter-agency coordination status during monthly internal OER-NOPP meetings.
- Programmatic Services: Coordinating with the NOAA science programs and laboratories for options and funding opportunities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Qualified candidate to support a contract with NOAA Research Office of Ocean Exploration and Research (OER)
- Project management and inter-agency coordination services experience
- Ability to facilitate and plan monthly Inter-agency Work Group (IWG) meetings
- Financial and spend planning coordination experience
- Reporting and outreach initiatives execution experience
- Coordination with NOAA science programs and laboratories for options and funding opportunities
