About the role
- Help manage a busy Press Office to secure proactive media coverage and handle reactive media enquiries
- Manage and oversee day to day account admin across clients
- Support the team in executing creative activations, plans and news hijacking ideas on behalf of clients
- Proactively pitch and secure media coverage that aligns with clients’ objectives
- Work with consumer brands on creative campaigns and deliver standout results within a collaborative team
Requirements
- Ideally would have a minimum of 6 x months experience working in agency or in-house, working on consumer brands
- An appetite to deliver stand out results for clients
- Attention to detail
- Good media contacts across traditional and new media outlets including print, broadcast and online
- An understanding of the news agenda and what makes a successful PR story
- Ability to prirotise and manage workload
- Experience of working as part of a collaborative team
- Passion, commitment and enthusiasm for what they do
- A passion for PR and delivering great work for clients
- Strong writing and presentation skills
- Confidence and excellent communication skills
- A positive ‘can do’ attitude – a self-starter and team player
- An ability to think creatively
