About the role
- Design and architect industry leading-technology solutions by understanding client requirements through business and technical consulting skills
- Create detailed documentation including conceptual, logical, and physical design, bill of materials, as-built diagrams, knowledge transfer materials, FAQs, and transition to operations information
- Act as a trusted advisor for clients, building long term relationships that further business value
- Work closely with the Sales Operations Team and Account Managers to support account planning and optimize sales opportunities in key accounts
- Create value-based outcomes based on current service catalogs
- Develop service proposals and contracts
- Provide technology leadership and support to the sales motion in multiple clients, aiming to sell multiple managed service offerings
- Attend and represent Long View at industry events
- Qualify opportunities and lead sales discussions with clients, translating business objectives into technology solutions
Requirements
- 6+ years in industry working as a subject matter expert in 2 or more technology areas (e.g., Data Centre Architecture, Hyper-Converged Infrastructure, Cloud – Public/Private/Hybrid)
- Experience with solutions from vendors including Cisco, Palo Alto, Microsoft, VMWare, Citrix, Nutanix
- Cyber Security Consulting experience including Risk Assessments, Compliance, Roadmaps, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery
- Experience with Cyber Solutions from vendors including Cisco, Palo Alto, Microsoft, Trend Micro, VMWare, CheckPoint, F5, Credo Trust, McAfee, Symantec, Splunk, VArmour
- Security Operations experience including Managed Services
- Remote Monitoring Detection and Response experience
- Knowledge of Windows 10, Office 365, Microsoft InTune, Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager, Skype for Business
- 5+ years of selling solutions with accountability for a quota
- Enterprise Architecture, consulting, and presales experience
- Ability to effectively communicate to different audiences in written, oral, and presentation formats
- Proficiency in workshop facilitation (envisioning workshops, art-of-the-possible sessions)
- Familiarity with selling processes and willingness to work within approved Long View processes
- Self-motivation and drive to improve skills and stay relevant
- Comfort with selling complex solutions
- Capacity to grasp new technology concepts rapidly and assess relevance for client solutions
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 20% of the time
- (Nice to have) Data Centre Management (CDCMP) Certification
- (Nice to have) Cloud (Microsoft Azure, AWS) Certification
- (Nice to have) Microsoft (MCSA:0365) or other related Certification
