About the role
- Own and drive the design process from start to finish, participating in research, ideation, iteration, testing, and refinement
- Build and test prototypes to validate assumptions and deliver user experiences
- Lead user research efforts and gather insights to inform design decisions
- Collaborate with engineers and Product Managers to bring new features to life
- Partner with Product Managers to define problem statements and user needs
- Engage with stakeholders across the organisation to align design efforts with business objectives
- Define and guide design standards and processes; contribute to and evolve visual language and design system
- Line manage and mentor two designers
- Report to CTO
Requirements
- Experienced end-to-end Product Designer with a proven track record in SaaS and product-led start-up or scale-up environments
- Skilled in conducting user research and drawing insights
- Able to solve complex, ambiguous problems and deliver effective design solutions independently
- Able to articulate and justify design decisions clearly and concisely
- Able to balance design excellence with delivering projects on time
- Experience mentoring or line management is a plus
- Passion for working in fast-paced, start-up environment
