• Collaborate with a team on structural analysis and design of various bridge types
• Lead bridge projects as the Bridge Task Coordinator

Structural Bridge Engineer

• Perform engineering design tasks for bridge projects from preliminary to final design
• Develop specifications, cost estimates, and prepare final bid packages
• Have established working relationships and contact with client technical staff and project managers, especially in DOT and local governments
• Provide engineering design services for traditional design-bid-build projects and design-build bridge projects
• Mentor and assist junior engineers in developing final design plans
• Coordinate design activities and meetings between design staff, subcontractors, and client managers
• Participate in project decisions regarding technical approaches, cost, and scheduling performance
• Identify schedule and cost variances and develop and implement recommendations for corrective action
• Participate in projects by completing tasks within schedule and budget with teams comprised of different disciplines
• Actively participate and serve in leadership positions in transportation related organizations such as ASHE, ASCE, NCSEA, etc

• Perform engineering design tasks for projects from preliminary to final design.

• Mentor and assist junior engineers in developing final design and constructions plans.
• Coordinate design activities and meetings between design staff, subcontractors and client managers.

• Actively participate and serve in positions with professional organization(s).

Manager

• Manage, schedule, and coordinate the process and work of employees who install LJB Fall Protection projects
• Collaborates with clients, LJB project managers and design staff for project planning
• Estimate construction labor and material costs for opportunities and proposals
• Use construction drawings to determine tools, materials and processes required for installation
• Procure materials and equipment necessary for projects
• Oversee project/work site ensuring safety standards and quality work are adhered to
• Collaborate with clients, supervisory staff, subcontractors, and design professionals to resolve problems

Fall Protection Construction Manager

• Participates in initial planning stage by collaborating with clients, LJB project managers and design staff
• Plans, coordinates, organizes, oversees, directs, and participates in activities regarding installation of fall protection systems.
• Works with project managers to estimate construction labor and material costs for opportunities and proposals.
• Collaborates with design professionals, project managers, client representatives, etc. to advise on constructability of a project
• Uses construction drawings to determine the tools, materials and processes required to complete the installation.
• Procures materials and equipment necessary for their projects
• Oversees and sometimes participates at the project/work site with our team of employees, ensuring safety standards are followed and quality work is being performed in a timely manner.
• Collaborates with clients, supervisory staff, subcontractors, and design professionals to discuss and resolve problems, including work procedures, complaints, and construction or design issues.

• Utilize CAD software to prepare detailed engineering drawings and plans for roadway projects.
• Assist in the preparation of construction documents, including specifications and cost estimates, to facilitate the implementation of roadway projects.
• Work with senior engineers and other team members to ensure effective communication, coordination, and progress of roadway projects.
• Stay updated on relevant transportation engineering codes, standards, and regulations to ensure compliance with applicable guidelines.

Entry-level Roadway Engineer

• Collaborate with team with structural analysis and/or design of bridges.
• Prepare drawings, plans, and technical specifications for bridge and roadway projects.
• Conduct load ratings and structural evaluations of existing bridges.
• Support field inspections and data collection efforts.
