About the role
- Collaborate with team with structural analysis and/or design of bridges.
- Prepare drawings, plans, and technical specifications for bridge and roadway projects.
- Conduct load ratings and structural evaluations of existing bridges.
- Support field inspections and data collection efforts.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and project teams to solve engineering challenges.
- Ensure designs comply with local, state, and federal standards and regulations.
- Contribute to project documentation, including reports, calculations, and cost estimates.
Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Civil Engineering, Structural emphasis preferred.
- EIT Certification Preferred.
- 1-5 years of bridge/culvert design experience.
- Knowledge of AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications and Manual for Bridge Evaluation.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with CAD plan development, MicroStation/ORD Preferred.
