About the role

  • Participates in initial planning stage by collaborating with clients, LJB project managers and design staff
  • Plans, coordinates, organizes, oversees, directs, and participates in activities regarding installation of fall protection systems
  • Works with project managers to estimate construction labor and material costs for opportunities and proposals
  • Collaborates with design professionals, project managers, client representatives, etc. to advise on constructability of a project
  • Uses construction drawings to determine the tools, materials and processes required to complete the installation
  • Procures materials and equipment necessary for their projects
  • Oversees and sometimes participates at the project/work site with our team of employees, ensuring safety standards are followed and quality work is being performed in a timely manner
  • Collaborates with clients, supervisory staff, subcontractors, and design professionals to discuss and resolve problems, including work procedures, complaints, and construction or design issues
  • Manages and leads actions necessary to respond to unforeseen conditions, disruptions, bad weather, supply issues, etc. to ensure successful and timely project completion

Requirements

  • 10+ years experience required in construction activities, specifically with steel and concrete
  • 5 years of supervisory experience in construction trade required
  • Associate Safety Professional Certification (CSP preferred) or obtainable within two years
  • SPRAT/IRATA certifications preferred
  • Ability to interpret and understand technical drawings
  • Understanding/Training in OSHA/ANSI fall protection standards
  • Ability to pass background checks, drug tests and MVR check
  • Proficient with operation of aerial lifts
