About the role

  • You will provide remote monitoring services to help support users as they progress through their home-exercise therapy program
  • Direct and aid users in therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, and functional training through a tech platform
  • Provide periodic feedback to the evaluating clinician on user progress
  • Maintains necessary records and notes while providing remote monitoring
  • Assist with improving processes and functionality of the platform
  • Care Navigator supports user success by identifying the needs and challenges users have and implementing interventions to guide new thinking and habit change

Requirements

  • As a PTA, you are naturally empathetic, friendly, and love what you do.
  • 2+ years of experience in musculoskeletal health
  • Graduated from an accredited physical therapy assistant program
  • Active PTA license with Compact License privileges
  • Active HPSO or other professional liability insurance
  • Tech Savvy, including having your own newer model laptop, a smart phone, and reliable internet
  • Experience in behavioral modification, Health Coach Certification is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, interpersonal, and presentation skills, and an ability to collect and present meaningful data to drive decisions
  • Strong relationship-building and listening skills
  • Demonstrated user focus; a genuine passion for the user and their experience
  • Ability to multi-task and manage various types of users
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • The flexibility and agility to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
  • The ability to influence change and bring enthusiasm and excitement to the workplace
  • Independent and proactive work style; quick, flexible thinking; and an open, inquisitive approach
