About the role
- Provides leadership and expertise for corporate functions in support of LifeStance’s vision, values, business plans and growth objectives.
- Develops and delivers a regional people strategy that ensures the business is designed for sustained high performance; attracts, develops and retains the talent necessary for success.
- Leads change management and communication efforts on corporate and regional initiatives.
- Coaches business leadership on salary, bonus, merit and reward recommendations and acts as a resource regarding compensation and benefit issues.
- Advises leadership on goal setting and the performance review process and provides guidance on effective communication and coaching to employee-owners.
- Partners with Talent Acquisition, Onboarding, Learning & Development and HR Centers of Excellence to support recruiting, onboarding, training and alignment of enterprise programs.
- Oversees employee relations issues and investigations, ensures compliance with federal, state, and local laws, and monitors HR metrics to drive retention and engagement.
- Designs strategies to improve morale, engagement, inclusion and recognizes employees for outstanding work.
- Participates in regional meetings and performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience including human resources business partner or generalist experience supporting exempt and non-exempt populations
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or above) preferred
- Strong project management and implementation skills
- Familiar with general office equipment
- Proficiency with HR systems (HRIS, ATS, Payroll) and ability to leverage technology and data for decision-making
- Experience serving as a trusted advisor and thought partner to business leaders on organizational design, talent planning, employee engagement, and workforce effectiveness preferred.
- Experience supporting corporate or functional leadership teams in a multi-site or matrixed environment strongly preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
