About the role

  • As a Sr Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) you are responsible for aligning human resources strategy and service with business objectives in designated business areas (BAs) and/or functional organizations. Serve as a consultant to leadership on human resource-related issues. Act as a strategic partner and operations consultant to the business while facilitating resolutions and responding to emergencies when necessary. Assess and anticipate HR-related requirements. Communicate proactively with internal HR partners (COEs, Shared Services, other HRBPs) and business leaders to develop integrated solutions. Develop partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to leadership and employees that reflect the organization's business objectives. Maintain an effective level of literacy about organizational and business strategy, financial position, culture, and competition.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field of study and 10 or more years of work experience Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education Leadership abilities inclusive of successful change management, leadership coaching, problem-solving, and conflict resolution. Experience conducting investigations and managing employee relations issues Can operate in ambiguity with limited guidance and support. Experience developing and executing strategic people strategy. Workforce planning and strategic human capital planning experience. Background in HR, management consulting, communications, or other support function Masters of Business Administration, HR, or Organizational Leadership PHR/SPHR certification or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification Strong business analytical skills with experience in data analysis tools Knowledge of DoD, government contracting and/or public auditing, policies, standards, and procedures Experience with Workday HR management systems Labor Union avoidance support to leaders and employees Experience in the Aerospace & Defense or Aviation industry IMPORTANT NOTICE: This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance.
