About the role

  • Onboarding: Ensure that the employees are onboarded in a timely manner. Conduct new hire orientation sessions and manage the entire onboarding process, including background checks and E-Verify process through Paylocity.
  • Offboarding : Manage the entire offboarding process, which includes conducting exit interviews for multiple clients.
  • Benefits Administration: Manage employee benefits programs, ensuring that employees have access to relevant information and support. Educate employees on companywide benefits and rewards. Responsible for all health insurance administration including 401k administration.
  • Recruitment and Staffing: Lead talent acquisition efforts, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new hires. Responsible for full-life cycle recruitment, including sourcing potential candidates.
  • Payroll/HR change report : Responsible for ensuring that any type of change is inputted on the Payroll/HR Change report in a timely manner.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns, fostering a positive work environment and resolving conflicts.
  • Performance Management : Monitor the performance process, ensuring timely completion of performance reviews. Responsible for sending out performance management notices.
  • Policy Development : Collaborate in the creation and enforcement of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Training and Development : Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs to enhance skills and career growth. Responsible for conducting annual compliance training.
  • Responsible for additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration and SHRM or HRCI human resources certification (e.g., SHRM-CP or PHR) preferred.
  • 6 – 8 years of experience in human resources, with a strong focus on Generalist functions and 3 years’ government contracting experience is necessary
  • 4+ years of full-life cycle recruitment, which includes sourcing. Experience with unique recruiting strategies. Full understanding of supporting proposals with sourcing of key personnel.
  • Thorough understanding of federal and state laws as well as government contracting compliance.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization. Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage sensitive situations with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • The ability to multi-task and juggle multiple priorities. Great organizational skills.
  • Experience supporting multiple clients in a client-facing environment.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred Paylocity HRIS.
