Develop procedures, processes, and performance measurement metrics
Understand subcontractor contract requirements and coordinate/prep data for project performance reviews and monthly reporting
Maintain and report on project key performance indicators (KPI’s)
Oversee detailed planning and coordination of project work and integrate tasks to minimize impacts to ongoing operations
Participate in project proposal development, proposal writing, and coordination with subcontractors
Lead multiple, complex projects and teams through the entire project lifecycle from planning to closeout
Coordinate and integrate activities of all project team members and support functions in a matrixed organization
Establish priorities for project teams and hold teams accountable for activities and deadlines
Collaborate with facilities, operations, IT & communications, transportation & logistics, engineering, planning & controls, procurement, subcontracts, and finance
Implement and practice risk management, host monthly project risk board review meetings, and develop contingency planning scenarios
Perform weekly and monthly schedule and resource analysis to provide accurate project forecasts
Perform CAM responsibilities including monitoring execution of project scope, updating labor and cost projects, and documenting variances and recovery efforts
Manage subcontracts including negotiations, statements of work, RFI/RFPs, and ensure compliance with subcontract terms and performance baselines
Manage all aspects of project schedules including baseline management and critical path analysis
Execute projects following standardized project management processes: scope, change, communications, quality, resource planning, and project information management
Ensure project completion within budget, schedule and conformance with design
Requirements
Due to contract requirements, US Citizenship is required
Must obtain a Public Trust security clearance prior to start date (process could take up to 4 months)
Candidate must complete the physical and dental examinations required by the NSF for deploying to Antarctica
Bachelor’s degree (additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree)
8+ years of Construction and/or Project Management experience with Vertical Construction/Building Projects or Facilities Maintenance/Upgrade Projects
4 years at the Project Manager or Construction Engineering Manager level of responsibility
Experience managing facilities and maintenance or construction projects from project proposal submittals and RFI’s, to red-lines, as-builts, and closeout
Experience in the management of subcontracts including subcontract negotiations, development of statements of work, requests for information and proposals
Experience managing all aspects of a project schedule including development, baseline management, scheduling relationship types and critical path analysis
Experience with CAM responsibilities and monitoring execution of project scope, labor and cost projects, and analyzing project variances
Demonstrated ability to report and clearly communicate project status and updates to executive level leadership
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships internally and external to ASC and Leidos
Ability to maintain well organized project artifacts and documents and work collaboratively with project team members and stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and/or manage change
