About the role

  • Support the design, automation, and deployment of secure AWS-based architectures
  • Focus on networking, identity integration, infrastructure as code, and application layer support
  • Use tools like Python, Terraform/AWS CDK, and Ansible for automation and configuration management
  • Support API integration and development using JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Work in a hybrid, cleared environment supporting mission-critical cloud solutions
  • Collaborate with the IT team at Fort Meade, MD and participate on-site ~2–3 days/week
  • Help manage critical infrastructure and ensure secure cloud operations

Requirements

  • 7-9 years of professional experience supporting design, automation, and deployment of secure AWS-based architectures
  • AWS architecture design and implementation
  • Identity provider integration (e.g., SAML, OIDC)
  • Python (for scripting and task automation)
  • Ansible (for configuration management)
  • Terraform or AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK)
  • Strong understanding of cloud and CNE-based networking
  • JavaScript / TypeScript API integration
  • U.S. citizenship required (pursuant to a government contract)
  • Active Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) Security Clearance required
  • Must be able to work approximately 2–3 days per week on-site in Fort Meade, MD
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills
